The den is placed in the side of the alpha's steep slop, made most likely from an old waterfall that used to flow through. The back of the cave shows evidence of an earthquake, because rocks that appears to have fallen from the top block up the passage. The floor is hardened dirt and rock, and the walls give an escape to the wind. This is a cozy place to get away from the cold in dead winter, or to simply take a nap.
