Sapphire opaque mirrors swept casually over the area which was now to be called home for her brief stay, the pallid ebbed female allowing her upper lip to roll back from a set of sharp canines with the slightest hint of distaste to such an idea. Living here, was she to be doing? Ah, well hopefully not long. Keeping herself in one place for too long was tiring, and rather dull if anyone was to ask her opinion. Then again, there really was none of that going on around here. In fact, she had been living in solitude for quite some time. A few seasons, if she had not been mistaken. Before then, however, she walked with a different story. She had raised two boys, Kele and Arno, on her lonesome. Both were the living sons of Sashe, along with her mixed blood, though his face they had never seen. Secretly, Chilam liked this about them. She liked bringing them up in her own manner, and teaching them what they needed to know. She enjoyed wasting away peaceful afternoons in the summer with watching them fight over sticks which were served in multitudes, and when they would sleep with their bodies in heaps over one another. To put it simply, they were rather adorable, and Chilam would never deny that they were the only thing to melt her completely. They may have been by a forced litter (to some degree, for both Sashe and Chilam knew what ran through their heads at the time), but in the end that was not even in their memories. All she could think of was how blessed she was to have two sons. Two, living sons, all to herself. Her bitter, catty nature simmered down as she raised the two to follow her footsteps, and in return they had offered her very much when they were old enough. Not only were they entertaining in their younger days, but they formed their own pack once they had aged properly. Arno, the larger of the two who had clearly taken after his father due to the key dark features, and bulky figure, had always been the alpha over his brother. Their play times often consisted of the hazel-shaded Kele being flipped onto his back and left to peep a soft 'mercy!' at his sibling, who's dark stature would hang above with a proud grin. Never had they meant much harm upon one another, though this was just... How it was. This was the order. Arno became the fat, healthy one, and Kele was the playful, pampered one. When they were grown, it was Arno who began forming his pack with all the instinct and power he could muster. His brother was allowed to stay, and was proudly awarded a beta position in the pack, which he took for two reasons; one being he was humble, and did not fancy alpha, and two being that the already chosen beta female was far more attractive to him than any other he had ever seen in his few years. Therefore, both boys were fairly pleased with their new lives. Arno allowed his mother to also remain in the pack, her position being nothing but an elder sikla, or close to nothing. However she offered no heed to her rank, she only watched as her sons grew and treated their own mates well. She participated in hunts, and offered as a babysitter for new pups in the pack. Some lowly males were often interested in Chilam, due to her exquisite beauty and skilled eye, even her knack for coldly shooting them down, but she did not fancy them in the same way. Sensing this, Arno discouraged them from touching her, forbidding it. Chilam was left without a mate, or a purpose, for many years. Sashe had been the only male to truly touch her, and here she was because of it. Alone.
Some time after becoming tired of watching other female's pups, Chilam got anxious, and some lust began brewing in her. She was becoming sickly, from being alone for so long, and came to the conclusion to leave. Arno was, obviously, upset. He tried to fetch her, or tell her of consequences that came with leaving, though Chilam only laughed at him, with her cold, echoing style laugh she was known for. "These eyes have seen more trouble then you have ever made. I am your mother, and I know of the dangers, Arno. Go back. Live your life. Say goodbye." Her last words to him were rather cold, but she made it up to him with a brief meeting of muzzles, and a wiping pink tongue over his face. Without anything else to say, Chilam had finally left her only children, and only family; to search for something more... Or was it the same thing all over again? Was she going to portray herself as an easy catch, this time, or feisty? Or maybe something totally new? A lady. She was a lady now, no? She had done everything it took to become a mature lady figure, so, why not? The thought crossed her mind many times, though wary of it was she. Chilam, a lady? Hah, that was surely new. Maybe only good for a laugh, too. Though on her trip to no where exact, she had decided not to be so foolish as she had last been. No, it was not a pregnancy or love or whatever you would assume she would wish to avoid, it was mockery. This time, she was not to be on the bottom, oh no. This time she would have her name be known to others, and they would remember her clearly. She wanted to burn them like dry ice. She wanted to brand their minds for good. And there was only one way to do such a thing...
The wind seemed to nip at the out of place hairs on the femme's back, winding them back in place only to fish them into a mess once more. Her coat was a sea of pearly shades, some darker than others, though they all tied together to blend her perfectly against the fresh blankets of snow. Bitter winds could not toss this female out of her thoughts, though. Cerulean seekers rolled listlessly about her surroundings, a lower level sort of veranda perching her body above others who could possibly be lurking about as she might have been. The moonlight spilled across her spine, illuminating the ghastly pallid features of the minx who remained frozen in her wary position. The crown of her head was tipped, held high over a muscular neck, which allowed her cold mirrors to search ever fold of the land laid before her, without even needing to lift a single claw off of the ice-sheeted earth. Curiosity was the only spark to flicker on and off in her glassy eyes, as she peered about. Little action seemed to be happening here, but why so? Was this place new to a founder? Maybe it was just the season she planned to venture here. Spring or summer might have been more lively, or at least one would assume. The sudden snap of a twig brought Chilam back to her senses, a divine smirk overcoming the muscles of her facial features as her eyes began to search for where this sound had originated. Her body was held still, the muscles of her shoulders clenched and tense in preparation, though her mind holding her back from making any movements to spring forth, and slide down the rocky surface which she had been perched upon for some time. What she found to be wandering through the trees was not showing the silhouette or prey, but something much like her own. Another canine, just sweeping on past. Her senses cleared him to be male, and this caught her interest immediately. He was not large, nor too dark. Average, she would assume. But his path was not towards her, but somewhere else. She must not have even been seen to his busy eyes. Still anxious, she could only helplessly watch as he walked away, her sharp tongue embedding deeper into her mouth as she had done so. Sure, she could have said something. Tried to get attention from the stranger, though hesitance overrode her restless soul, and quiet she stayed.
Some time passed, enough to make those clenched muscles of her shoulders ache, the feeling of needles sweeping her skin apparent due to the stress on that area. Finally, Chilam let her tense body relax, her lanky bodice slinking down the side of the rock in which she positioned herself with poise. Her lips rolled away to reveal a bubble-gum pink tongue which swept over a minuscule clump of ice, the sound of it clattering against her teeth something to fill the silence. She was pleased and busy for a moment, though that was all. Just a moment. And like that, she lost interest and swiftly jogged to the woods. She left tracks carelessly behind her, the only things to imprint this ground which had been so delicately dusted over the night before. Her azure pools took no notice to much around her, for all she sought was somewhere quiet to lay. Somewhere which was somewhat hidden, and easily escapable. Some dead bushes were in her path, though these did not seem to fit the description well, so continue she did until she found a gathering of short evergreens. They were clumped together, as if needing to save heat... Like some animal. A coy sort of laughter slipped from the trembling body of the female, and she tentatively slipped beneath the bottom branches which were thick by piercing green needles. Rolling to one side, then another, she carefully dug out and pushed the snow into different directions, forcing up walls which served as perfect insulation on a cold winter's eve. And, without another thing to enter her mind, wrapped her body around itself, and then relaxed into a hazy slumbering state. She was nearly invisible, here, and knew that most likely no one would find her. Not here, and not now.
Unless, someone was looking for her.

Silver puffs of carbon swirled around the ebon nares of Sashe, his attention drawn to a particular place. It had been some time since he last made the long treck to the claiming grounds, but this was an act most will preform many times. Silence engulfed every corner of this frost coated domain, slumbering and migratory creatures absent for the time being. This silence only helped him recall his previous packs, previous life. The most recent had been a small pack, consisting of three. Two had slowly drifted away without a given reason. But there had been one, Chiliam, whatever happened to her? They had produced two, Sashe seeing them very few times. Something had happened that caused their parting quickly the following winter, around this time actually. Snow now clung to Sashe's stiff coat, nares recived a fresh sheeting of ice. The stars twinkled as bright as ever, but they were small and did little to illuminate the path. Crickets sang their sharp song as thin wisps of fog began to gather in the long grass. Fall was ending, that was for sure. Chilling nights giving little company to those of solitude. The day had been a chilling one, stiff and dead with the unforgiving ice. So he had a past, quite a horrid one at that. Leading such a band. Chilam, the old flame. And then there was Eclipse, the unfaithful. But wait, there had been another. Tala, a fickle wrench. But that was all gone now, he was starting new. It was all over, his old terrain gone like the others. Now the night was falling, and with it came the chilled breeze. His muted footfalls quieted as he halted for a moment, his destination was close. Thick braces locked as he paused, simply pondering his next move. Optics rolling in the sockets just before a gust of wind drew his attention westward, the meek scent of fae lingering in the distance. So this wasn't another dead end? A grim smirk began to crawl over his own chapped lips, ivory fangs glistening in contrast. His idle state was quickly marred as he lept into movement, hackles rising as he crept closer and closer in the direction of the fading scent. Bits of ice still clung to the ebon dipped threads as he wove through the many anorexic trees linning the valley, peds creating a crunching noise against the freshly lain snow. Here we go..
At first the figure could not be seen, her own frame blending with the current elements. His strides began to grow in length as he picked up speed, nares catching the familiar scent. "Chilam?" He almost whispered, his tone snapping the silence in two. A responce wasn't heard, lappets swiveling forward as he slowed once more. So she had fallen into a state of slumber, oh but Sashe knew who this one was. Chilam without a doubt. A grin returned to his well defined facet, an expression that hadn't crossed in some time. Coal nares began to nudge by Chilam's own cheek bone, chilling winds picking up. "Wake up Chilam, its me." He waited eagerly for a reply, a short whine sounding as he continued to nudge the slumbering fae.

"Chilam?" The voice of a male rang softly in her ears, which twisted back upon her snow-shaded head carefully. "Wake up Chilam, its me." The gentle whine of another brought the female into a sort of daze. She was not awake, and her eyes barely opened, but they did. Enough to see the shaded figure of a dark male. He continued to whine at her, nosing the limp head which remained planted in the snow. Finally convinced to roll over, she perched her head weakly upwards so that he could see her. Only slivers of blue could be seen, as her eyes were not fully revealed. She did not need to open her eyes, however. She knew who it was... "Arno!" She seemed to trill out happily, the tip of her icy tail flopping for the sky as she brushed muzzles with him in a very pleased manner. From the scents she breathed in, she noted how he seemed to smell so lonely. Not of his mate, and not of his brother or their pack. What had happened? Maybe it was not best to ask. Her mind was not exactly functioning properly at the moment, anyways. She would never remember his reply. Carefully, she squinted as she once more looked upon the brute, her nose not getting enough of being beside his, which eventually brought on the grooming of his face. As she touched and brushed him, however, she was only reminded of one. "Why - You're looking more and more like..." Like what? She was beginning to say his name, though a break in her sentence came along. The fragile whisper that shed from her lips was shattered with the eerie whine she produced. Her legs buckled before she hoisted herself up, her cerulean seekers not once leaving his dark body once they opened to their full size. What they told her was true... Or actually, a lie. This was not her son, Arno, who stood before her, trying to fetch her. It was another, one from the past... Long before Arno. "Sashe." She whispered softly, as if in disbelief. What would he think of her? Uselessly babbling about some 'Arno'? She could not even remember if he knew their names, or how important they were to her, but maybe he did not even care. She knew why he was here, though. He was lonely, and so was she. Both were looking for someone. Had it been each other, all along? Perhaps, but Chilam was never one to believe in such a thing as fate or luck... Not much love, either. Did she love Sashe? She was not so sure. If being a mother to his pups was love, well... She had done it. But if it was love, she would not need to question herself.
The pallid minx looked foolish, as she watched Sashe, her expression blank. What did she say to him? Hello might have been a good start, though it was too hard to choke out, for some reason. What about asking where he had gone? Too much pressure. "It is really you...? Sashe?" Still, she could not believe her eyes. Warily, the female stepped forth, brushing her shoulder to his as she ran her darker nares over his thick coat. The same scent, the same muscles... Everything. It was Sashe, in the flesh. In a submissive sort, she bent forth a bit, rubbing her head calmly to his chest, then up and around to meet face to face with him. He seemed so much more at peace, now... Though maybe it was because no random siklas were smart mouthing him, or stealing food or... Or... All of those things she could recall their older pack bringing up. Though about her past... Did she not only moments ago promise herself to start anew? Thick, feminine smells were in the air; smells she planned to tempt another with. If that another happened to be Sashe, well... She was stuck in the same place she first was trapped in. She would seem so... So filthy, only to add. For that was how she and Sashe met, over her desire for attention. Sheepishly, she smiled with the thought, only one thing arising from her lips as she looked him in the eye. "Looks like we're right where we started..." But wouldn't he agree?

His thick pelt was matted with frozen burrs, ice locking them in. Each layer of his ebon coat slowly being breeched by the fierce cold. But somehow, he was distracted from this discomfort. Muzzle buried in ivory threads, nares taking in the well defined scent. Chilam. No mistake about that. A sliver of azure was caught, Sashe held his breath. She stirred, rolling over. His fores begun to march feverishly in place as his excitement grew. "Arno!" He almost didn't catch his sons name as Chilam returned the nuzzle, Sashe lowering to the snow beside her. Did she even know who he was? Suddenly he felt like a fool for returning, ah, for only their son popped into her mind. He stopped all motion for the moment being, dial slowly lowering to his fores atop the snow. Cord shifting over the ice behind him every so often, a tiny rectangle drawn in the white sheet. "Why - You're looking more and more like..." Auds perked at her next wordings, dial rising quickly. And then she said it. "Sashe." His grin returned, he wasn't just some forgotten memory. Coral swiped over her nose once before he rose to his feet once more. An awkward silence fell over the two. How could he not have anything to say? Simply Hi or an apology? For leaving her to raise his first? For not being there ever? "Hello...Chilam." It was a start, or whatever you would call it. Effort.
Swirls of silvery breath formed a barrier between each figure, each lost in their own thoughts. Finally, she broke the silence. A deep breath taken as he listened, soaking each tone up like a sponge. "It is really you...? Sashe?" Sashe began to nod, a step for wards taken. "I suppose I have some questions to answer, if you have any already thought of." Sleet grey occili found Chilam's once more, contact made. Im all ears. To his surprise she also took a step for wards, brushing against his own flesh as she passed. Perhaps she was confirming her thoughts, first assumptions. Sashe didn't need to, he was certain. Chilam, how could he think of any other name? He caught a glimpse of his mark on her own pelting, a set of four lines running down her back. Memories breaking thought his thoughts, suddenly he became ashamed of his previous actions. Old ways, or well not all that old. They where still there, just harder to urge him to do such things. "Looks like we're right where we started..." He wasn't sure what she meant by where they started. "Chilam, we are past that." Shame filled his tones, dial lowering to hers. "I promise to be better." He whined slightly, dial nudging beneath her jaw.

Who would have thought the Sashe would once again cross paths with the fancy bleach female Chilam? She was nearly sure that such an event would never come again, though now that it had, she was feeling a sudden rush of... Ecstasy. This was amazing, to be beside someone who knew her... Or to some degree. Sashe was, as both knew, nothing too close to her. He had never quite taken the time to learn much about her. Though she would not have allowed him at the time, either. She was bitter... Cold. She had a sharp tongue, often slashing him for foolish things. So, if he wanted to know of her, she most likely would not have allowed it. So who was to blame? She left such a heavy thing in the air, and did her best not to become too awkward beside him. There was no need for tension, not now. She needed him, and he needed her... That was why they were both here, at this moment. She just could not be the same Chilam, this time. She had to be warmer; she had to let him in. She wanted to...
"I suppose I have some questions to answer, if you have any already thought of." She loved the feeling of his hidden warmth radiating off onto her own, more delicate bodice, though never would she admit such a thing. Not here, and not now. Carefully, she maneuvered herself, trying to keep closer and closer to him, using his thick winter coat of dark shades like a pillow to grasp her elegant tiara. Once buried deep into his warmth, she tried to register what he had said. He was asking her for questions? Or assuming them from her. She wished she could have just remained quiet, and snuggle tight into his hold for a cold winter night, but reply she must. He seemed to be almost... Waiting. Did he care? She was careful with the fact of letting him know much about her. She was not so sure, yet. Was this a mask? Maybe he just wanted to hurt her, or make her look like a fool. Maybe he just wanted to get her back for being so foul in her younger days. Oh, don't be so paranoid. She wished she could listen to herself, but it was hard when standing beside something so physically intimidating. He could do a good deal of damage to something so deft as herself; just a female. "No questions, Sashe. None of it matters. You are here, and that is more than enough." It was not the typical answer from a female, though Chilam did not know what it was like to love another like a mate should, or feel the invisible attachment to them which would make her appear far too clingy for safe mental health. All she knew was that Sashe was one of two things or both, a save haven and a superb father. Or... Gene wise, she would say. He had given her two healthy pups. Raising them was another story, but their actual lives were led with strength and ability. That meant very much to her.
Her tide-shaded mirrors flashed with a hint of hidden laughter as Sashe tried to hold her stare. Was he not believing her? She watched him briefly, turning her head to the side as if to question him in return. Her focus lasted relatively long, as she studied all that there was to his dark features, on this quiet and chilly night. His pale eyes were empty, and clearly not posing threat. He did not want to inflict pain, did he...? And why was she so paranoid? She could protect herself, right? She was her own super hero. The adolescent train of thought zoomed through her mind briefly, and was then forgotten. Youth seemed to always think they were invincible, until something took the wind from them. Chilam was no longer a young femme, not like when she had been with Sashe, before. She had blossomed. Matured. Wisened. She knew she could not take him. She knew were she stood. So if he were to hurt her, what was she to do? Tuck tail and run? Roll over and beg for mercy? She just didn't know. Maybe that was the scary part of this... She did not know what to do, if things ended in flames. "Chilam, we are past that." His voice, dark and deep, saved her from her worried self. A glimmer of hope flashed upon her bright eyes as she then rose them to meet with his once more, her face pressing close to his own. She was waiting, feeling the air just lingering around his nostrils. He had more to say... "I promise to be better."
He promised to be better, did he? Curiously, the little minx lofted her head to see him with a rigid portrait. "Better?" She asked quite softly, with her bell-like tone. It was almost as if she were confused with him. Better? How could he have been better to her? After all he had done, what their out come was, was just enough. That she knew. Her pups had made her forget about the period of time after she had met Sashe. They made her forget those dragged scars on her back. Those blessed things even made her forget hurt, all together. What they did bring to mind was Sashe. Just... Sashe. Not of his failures, and not of his achievements. Maybe it was really she, who had to apologize to him. He missed her happiness, here. She was rude to him... And there was just no excuse. "Sashe, please, don't... Don't feel guilt for what was done." Painfully, the female shook her head, knocking her cheeks gingerly into his own. "I am sorry. I was so foolish and naive, then. I'm sorry you did not know your pups well. They were magnificent boys..." A sigh rolled from her tender lips, before she began lapping away at his muzzle feverishly. "I love pups." She was helplessly grinning, as she pushed his nose away with playful intentions. Thanks to him, she knew this. And somewhere, deep in her azure gaze, she beamed a thank you to him. Thanks...

So here he was, right beside the one he had so easily left years ago. It was odd really, how he could know everything about her and still be clueless. He knew he name, he knew her personality, and he knew somewhat of her past. But other than that he knew absolutely nothing. But what had caused his leave? That pack had been the best one yet, order slightly coming forth. He had not been utterly disrespected, no sneaking around, and not one single challenge. So what had gone so wrong? Maybe the perfection was what drove him away, unable to handle this new way of living. But now he was older, less juvenile. He would be able to handle himself better than before, no more hiding from the present. So now he had changed, it was actually pretty obvious also. His temper could be managed, this was his biggest accomplishment. His drive to ruin and conquer had been extinguished. Oh but dont take him for a fool now, you know, old ways die hard. His home was sort of unclear for the time being, Tennar taking his sweet time responding to his challenge. He had recently seen the little bantle, how quickly Sashe had reverted to his old ways. Maybe, just maybe, the brawl could be avoided. A little fear brewing in Tennar, ah but Sashe wasn't counting on it. Ready when you are.....
His fores had gone numb, ebon pads frozen stiff as the snow remained packed in around his paws. All warmth had left the scene as the sun continued to flee over the horizon, hiding behind the mountains. Sadly, the chilling breaths of cold wind still remained. Relentlessly whipping around his own ebon threads, his flesh almost burning from the cold. Silence once again fell over the duo, both concentrating on a way to find warmth. Tiny flecks of bleach began to fall, each little piece seen on the pelt of Sashe. But for Chilam, there was no difference between the pure snow and her own threads. He noticed Chilam's constant squirm to get just a little bit closer, and sadly, Sashe wasn't sure how to react. She was never one to give affection. And neither was he. constantly he was reminded of each flaw, his list of things to improve on growing longer and longer. "No questions, Sashe. None of it matters. You are here, and that is more than enough." Nothing else matters? Because of his presence? He almost laughed, but then again, maybe she ment it. of relief sounded as those words where spoken, maybe he had been forgiven. "Chilam, I have missed you." He spoke, cold nose buried in her own furrs. He felt awkward showing this type of affection, he was the type to say it once and expect them to just remember these sort of moments. Just try a little harder.
He hand managed to hold her gaze for some time now, picking apart each distinct hue. Little flecks of darker blues against a background of lighter versions. A darker rim of indigo ran along the outskirts of her pupil before fading out. Like an delicate painting or mosaic of some sort, he was some what intrigued by them. His own were plain, lifeless. Silvery grey. But the contrast against the black gave them away, no matter what. He was trying to read her, but it was just impossible. She seemed to keep everything locked away just as he. But now he was changing just for occasions such as these, but will everything be lost once they return to the home lands? With the presence of the others, he hadn't a clue of what would occur. Or even if he would be Alpha, though he was confident in himself. But if by some horrid mistake he found himself a beta, could Sashe handle seeing Chilam courted by the residing Alpha? No, he wouldn't be able to. It would tear him up inside, driving him insane. "You seem...different." He spoke softly, his dial turning to the side mirroring her own actions. "In a good way, I mean." He added quickly. It would be a true shame to take something the wrong way now, right when things where getting better. A little flicker of fear was sighted in her ocean eyes, could he blame her? "I am not here to hurt you Chilam, never again." He cooed, paws lifting from the snow slowly as he readjusted atop the ice. "I promise." Finally, he had finished. Pleased with his actions.
Her look of confusion was almost comical, a soft chuckle sounding as her dial was lofted to the side. Almost able to see the wheels turning inside that dream box of hers. "Better?" His grin grew wider as she repeated his words. "Yes, better. You know, certain flaws fixed. The obvious ones." Chilam was covered with marks of Sashe's past, as was he. Chilam had fought back, but it was a sad attempt. Though she made good effort, Sashe did not take any mind to his wounds back in those days. "Sashe, please, don't... Don't feel guilt for what was done." How could he not be? It was his job to be a provider, leader at the least. "Chilam, I can try. But i had failed you, and that cannot be denied." A playful nip was placed on her cheekbone as they brushed briefly, the awkwardness leaving slowly but surely. "I am sorry. I was so foolish and naive, then. I'm sorry you did not know your pups well. They were magnificent boys..." His jawls had parted in preparation to reply, but he was cut off quickly. Coral swiping over his muzzle silencing him, the same actions returned. He couldn't remember the last time he and Chilam had any sort of interaction. But hey, first for everything no? "Love pups." She said again, thanking him almost. "I am sure they were amazing, i mean, look who raised them." He said with a nudge, gratitude beaming. "Maybe there will be other chances for me to know a pup of ours...?" He spoke, wondering if he was pushing his luck. His own silverly pools searching hers, just waiting for a reply.

Were sparks flying? No, that's snow... Chilam smiled coyly, as she shook her dainty tiara from side to side, feeling like a fool as this strange emotion called bliss began to grip her body. She felt dizzy, yet alive on her feet. Was this love? Was love this... Awkward? And was Sashe feeling this, too? For a moment, the female kept her eyes firmly focused upon the ice-crusted earth beneath their paws, struggling not to look like a fool if he was not feeling like she was. One moment she was down, feeling doubtful of him, and then she was soaring? So high she could not even understand what was running through her head? This was surely not Chilam, nor was it even normal. But she could not help herself. Perhaps it was a surge of desire. Perhaps it was the fact she had been so lonely, such an encounter would have to feel wonderful. Perhaps it was even a little surge of hormones, dulling her senses and telling her to give him the every advantage. Whatever it was, it was intoxicating enough for this femme to wish it never to end. Her up and down felt oddly miraculous, and there was no stopping her. She was falling. Maybe to a crooked target, but she was going. "Chilam, I have missed you." He said this quietly, with his signiture, masucline sort of rumble. As his damp nose met with her coat, she shivered, and then brought her head into his own skin, pushing into him to nuzzle against him for warmth. "Yes, and I you." Did she really miss him? In truth, only to some degree. She had her 'hands' full in caring for, and teaching two boys on her own. She wanted them to become successful, with a family of their own. Nothing like her. So did she have time remember him...?
Only on cold, lonely nights. One like this could have been.
Imagine her, all alone tonight. Curled against herself and trying to prepare mentally for a new day; and a new male to succumb to. She never knew what she would have met, out there. She was so much more than lucky, to have the male she wanted here, before her. The only one she had known, and now possibly the only one she could love. Feeling slightly more confident in herself, Chilam hid her energetic smile, as she tipped her head back to see Sashe once again. His eyes held her own, and he seemed to be thinking very hard. Though about what? She was curious, though did not dare ask. She was not one for much words, any how. At least... Not anymore. "You seem...different." Was that what he was thinking about? Not being the type to pounce on the smallest word (or at least for him), she sat back and waited for some reasoning to his sudden spill of thoughts. It would come, after some time with this strange star coming from her now blank and glassy sea-blue eyes. She kept her grip on the look as he tipped his head to the side, waiting until he was ready to explain. "In a good way, I mean." A good way. She was different, this she knew. It seemed that he liked it though? Good, for he did this to her. Deserting her, the whole motherhood deal... It mellowed a rebel, let me tell you. "Time does that, I suppose. You, too, are different. Not the least bit handsome, however." With the comment, she kept her poise, and continued to watch him, now no longer in such a cold or questioning manner. "I am not here to hurt you Chilam, never again." He could not let it go? It was bothering him that much? A soft, pitiful smile came to her lips at that moment, but she allowed him to go on. As usual. "I promise." The clack of his nails over the ice could not catch her attention, as she was far too focused on him. "I believe you..." Why was she whispering so much? Was she entranced? Maybe. Just maybe. Nothing looked more like a savior now than this male. Her Sashe.
"Yes, better. You know, certain flaws fixed. The obvious ones." The pallid female, once again, looked him over slowly. The scars were like a story to her, one she wished to never read again... She was fixed upon him, and not willing to reply to this topic anymore. She liked him just as he was, right here... Standing before her. If this was different, so be it, but guilt she would not stand. "Chilam, I can try. But i had failed you, and that cannot be denied." The nip to her cheek was driven away with a little bark, though she did not persue her search for play... Not yet. "It is done, Sashe, and no grief do I hold at night. So there are scars, but maybe that just makes the image more unique." Her smile continued to appear as she eyed him up and down. What she had said, she meant, and no longer was there shame. She was clean; she could be happy. Could he be? Maybe he just needed some time...
And again, they were back to pups; Chilam's favorite topic. The two continued to be soft with one another, and relatively romantic... In some way. Chilam could not recall a time where this had occurred before, so she had taken notes on everything; making sure she did not over do herself. She was a quiet, mysterious girl... Not a lovesick puppet. Never would she be. "I am sure they were amazing, i mean, look who raised them." His reply was sweet, and graciously she melted into his chest. Her coat was loudly meshed with his, black and white, two oppsites making one similar thing. A relationship. She blew back the hairs standing on his neck as she brushed by, bringing ber body parallel to him, but her head to lay on his back. "Sashe, they looked so much like you. Especially Arno. They are strong like you, too..." Her smile just could not die, not in these hours, and she could have cared less if she looked overly happy. Maybe she was, for once in her life. "Maybe there will be other chances for me to know a pup of ours...?" Was this a... Suggestion? Curiously, the female looked back unto the darker one, her eyes aglow with mysterious and flirtation embedded deep within. She thought of an answer, but would never clearly blurt out a 'yes'. Now was too demanding, and yes was too... Not right. Did she want more of his litters? "Do you like pups?" Her tail danced back and forth as she eyed him, her steps picking into an in-place prance as she flirtatiously rubbed him, though no pressure intended... Just for fun. "I don't know. I'm kind of hungry." Random, to say the least, but... Well, she was. And hey, who said he was talking about soon?
