Anxioty slowly returned along with a dim ray of light, they had been here all night, and it was surprising that they survived. No food, only the blistering cold. His stomach curled with hunger, it was an unbearable feeling yes. Like his stomach had turned inside out and begun attacking over organs in hope of food. His attention once again was snatched by Chilam, a clearly effortless act on her part. A smile sighted along her sugar coated features, her gaze quickly falling to the icy loam bellow the two. Sashe's mind continued to wander, food being his main concern. It was amazing how quickly he could all of a sudden forget what was happening, at times like these he was thankful for the security of his thoughts. Not one could read them. Imagine if little Chilam knew, or maybe she would not give any mind to it. Though, Sashe doubted that. His thoughts where shattered by hte soun dof silver bells, Chilam had spoken. "Yes, and I you." A sort of dazed look had come over her features, Sashe couldnt help but grin in amusement. Ebon cords floping from side to side atop the melting snow behind them, snapping back to the event unfolding. He was indeed, falling for this silver fae. Again, just as before. But this time chosing to show it. He had been drawn to her rebelious actions, her sharp tongue. That was everything he loved. But now she had changed for the better, slightly contained. But he wouldn't test it. Because like he, im sure she can revert back. A soft sigh sounded as his dial once again fell against her own pelting, his frozen snout warmed by the thick threadings.
He had slept but for a few hours the night before, curled against Chilam as close as possible. Somehow, she had snaked her way into his dreams. But this dream took place in the future, like a little peek from the past. But this future was so vile, horrid. Everything he would dread. The brawl between him and Tennar had gone bad, Sashe losing a paw in the mists of it all. Tennar remaining king, Sashe settling as a lowly Sikla. For how could a three footed creature be anything less? Chilam had quickly left Sashe for the other one, she somehow grasping a lust for power. If thier paths ever crossed she would walk past as if he didn't exist, like a one way mirror separated him from all others. It was hell. A nightmare. But could this ever happen? His facet slowly drew from the alabastar plush, Sashe's stare falling downwards to Chilam. Of course not, so he thought. "Time does that, I suppose. You, too, are different. Not the least bit handsome, however." He paused in his thoughts, forgetting what she had been replying to. But it somehow fit into what he was thinking, time changing one, pairs shifting. Some falling, just as he had in his dream. A look of dismay had crawled along his jawl line. The look only lasted for a moment, his last words recalled. "Yes, I suppose." He grinned, nudging her in responce to her compliment. Another whisper sounded, harks swiveling forwards to pick up the softer notes. "I believe you..." He was pleased, that was easily seen. Things seemed perfect at this time, aside from his hunger, and brawl ahead. He seemed to have everything handled in this life, or did he?
A desparte struggle for a new subject had been ignited, he was closing the book on their less perfect past. But that was what had been so great about the two, their past. It had been like most younger couples, if you could call it that. They had both been so proud and felt the need to show it, was their really anything wrong with that? No, I think not. Maybe how the two chose to go about it, so territorial. But that was only natural, mind you. "It is done, Sashe, and no grief do I hold at night. So there are scars, but maybe that just makes the image more unique." He had been forgiven, a weight lifted off his already heavily burdoned shoulders. "Thank you Chilam." He grinned, more tones following. "You know, some would kill for your fine uniqueness." He spoke, glassy orbs quickly shifting over her delicate features. He hadn't lied, in his eyes, she was perfect.
The struggle was over, a new subject grasps. A low rumble sounded from the depths of his stomach, a signal of hungar. He once again paid no mind to his bodies moans for food, cries of starvation. "Sashe, they looked so much like you. Especially Arno. They are strong like you, too..." Sashe had seen the two maybe once or twice, the charred pup standing out the most to him. That indeed had been Arno, he had taken a liking to this pup. Amused by his way of mirroring his sire's actions. Now Chilam had found a resting point, her dial resting along his spinal. One day, they would try again. He really didn't doubt this, as she didn't have a sarcastic reply to his suggestioin. "Do you like pups?" He chuckled at her eager tone, a nod forming. "Yes Chilam, from what I can remember, i did." A second rumble sounded from his belly, a frown curling along his ebon lips. "I don't know. I'm kind of hungry." And with that, his prayers had been answered. "I am also, care to join me?" Suddenly, a more playful mood found Sashe. "Or wait, I seemed to ahve forgotten something." He began to back up a few paces before her, a deep inhale fo oxygen stolen. "Dear Chilam, would you join me in my terrian?" He questioned, already knowing the answer.

Odd, it was, how time was capable of morphing a life. Of course, it did not just happen over night, though once it had things just could not be the same. Sashe was different, after all of this time, and so was Chilam. Though she believed she had her own correct reason. A female's life dramatically changes once she makes her first den. Her first. Something was not the same with her, after that day. Either something clicked, or something generated, she did not know; all she knew was that she had shed her ugly skin, and became something quite new. What was Sashe's tale, though? For, obviously, he had not the life changing experience she had. He was just not physically capable. So then, what was it? Chilam was quizzically beginning to stare at him again, having no control over her facial features as she thought of him while staring. Maybe he was hurt, in some way? Maybe he had a heart, all along, and felt it break under the pressure? No, no. Sashe is not like that... But he was not like the male standing in front of her, either. So who was he? And did she have a right to complain? She thought not, and obviously did not dare do so. She held her tongue, as she looked him over once more, and finally decided she liked this tender side of him. Of course, she'd enjoy a bit of edge now and again, but such a thing was not really welcomed in this kind of environment. Not here, not now. He would spoil her willingness, and they both knew that was unwanted.
After the great deal of whispers and comforting croons, of jokes and other matters, the two seemed to settle quite nicely. Ebony and ivory mixed perfectly together, as Chilam managed to drop her weight again and curl up; the two pressing against one another to conserve their heat. During their rest, the porcelain-appearing femme buried her muzzle into the male's skin, letting his familiar scent overwhelm her dreams. Little did she know, he too was fussing with a busy mind tonight, and the thoughts were not all that pleasant. Chilam had not known anything of his future, though. Nothing of Tennar, or his home, or if there was the possibility for other females around. Would this make her jealous? It all depended. Sashe was never really shared with other females who cared for him, or at least when Chilam was around. Things would be different now, however. She liked him more, favored his ideas and would see logic in his thinking. Hopefully this would not cause conflict, though who was one to predict? Chilam had never felt the way she did right now, so assuming her future was really hard to do. These things floated restlessly in her head as she slept, finally rising once Sashe had, and coming back into the swing of being awake when he had, too. Some of the things he said were useless for replying to, so she barely listened, and only offered him the warmth of her body as she leaned against him once more, the strange urge to rub against him and push her head into his coat oddly quite strong. By now, she smelled mainly of him, not like the lonely female she had been earlier; and quite honestly she liked this. She was his.
"Thank you Chilam." As he finally spoke, with a gruff yet mellow sort of tone, the minx refocused her glassy cerulean mirrors upon his own slate-gray ones. She said nothing, and only admired in his dark, handsome features for one of those silent moments they were now often sharing. "You know, some would kill for your fine uniqueness." Again, the silence was slaughtered, though the female's peace was not unsettled. She turned her body, so that she could face Sashe head on, and there she ducked her head, to rub her ears around his muzzle. "Oh, Sashe..." She spoke as if she were flattered and coy, though a few seconds later she swerved her gorgeous bodice away from him, with a anxious wag of her tail before she let it rise like an exclamation point in the air. "It's been done." She laughed softly as she strolled around the male, making a little circle in the tight area in which they had been occupying by the trees. What she had said was true, some did fight over her; gnawing at legs and sharply tossing barks and taunts back and forth. The reason she had laughed was because it was all so foolish, and totally not worth their whiles. "... Too bad they all lost in the end." Again, a laugh bubbled into the silence, and the ice lady strolled to a place directly before Sashe, though a distance from him, so that he could not touch her. There, she lowered herself to the snowy earth, rolling her limbs beneath her. Two azure eyes searched his, again driving away the touchy topic of other males, their pups, and their past. It's all about you, boy.
For a moment, Chilam rolled her bleached white tail back and forth, it's presence like a ghastly duster which loomed behind her back. She was waiting, and impatiently, for some reply from the dark brute. Anything which told her he too was willing to find something to snack upon. Her wide ears rolled forth atop her head as she watched him intently, whining every so often when nothing was heard, though once he had spoken up and was driven from his thoughts, she hushed and listened quite tentatively. "Yes Chilam, from what I can remember, i did." He was speaking of pups, and before he could even continue with another word, the femme was up and on her delicate peach-soled feet once again, pushing her body forth in a floating jog until she was right beside him once more, her pearly white canines rolling past his ears before she spoke into them. "No, Sashe. You love pups. And when you are ready, you will find me." A sort of devilish, yet flirtatious smile appeared on her elegant features, the belle offering a nudge to Sashe's thickly coated neck before strutting off, the smile never wearing off. "I am also, care to join me?" Oh yes, and then back to leaving. She froze, and did not dare look back to him. Just... waiting. "Or wait, I seemed to have forgotten something." She nodded very lightly, as if only doing it for her sake, her eyes still focused somewhere else as her back was turned to him. "Dear Chilam, would you join me in my terrain?" There, she was waiting just for this. Eagerly, she spun on her hips and ran right back beside him, her teeth running through his dark coat playfully. "Of course, of course! Oh, Sashe!" She knew it was to come eventually, though once it had she felt more than relieved. For a brief moment, she pressed against him, wishing for nothing more than just to stay here, alone. Though time would push them on and away, and there was most likely a pack waiting for him in his home. No, not a pack, a pack of banshees. All Sashe seemed to collect were girls, and maybe that was the reason so many packs deteriorated. They hadn't the backbone - the spare males. Chilam would have to have a talk with him on that... But for now... "Where do you live? Ah, tell me in a bit. Let's first find something good." Good to eat, of course. Energetically, she began to prance in her place, nosing at Sashe until he too showed the anxiety she had. Just waiting until he led the way to a good meal.

A new season had begun its slow creep into the claiming grounds, the suns rays becoming more intense as the day grew older. The blanket of snow the two sat upon had begun to melt and sink back into the frosty geo, a sort of humid atmosphere created. A slightly warmer wind replaced the bitter biting chills, feeling returning to his ebon paws. So this change he had made, it was quite a big one. A deep inhale of oxygen was snatched as his attention swayed to partially frozen branches, tiny droplets of water falling from each branch. He slowly started to wonder how he had changed, maybe each little droplet of anger had melted away, just like the ice once coating those branches. This actually left him sort of puzzled. Jawls began to part as a quick yawn was preformed, nasals quivering slightly. After a few moments, Sashe finally could pin point exactly when this little change was made. After deserting his clan, it finally struck him. He had years of experience and nothing to show for it. Not even a pack of his own. And why was that? Because some how, each time, he would find something wrong. Practically digging for it. And right when that flaw was found, he was off again. But after leaving Chilam and his first two, his days where clouded with guilt and a sense of sorrow. Missing the perfection he once had. So now, this change of his, it really was made for Chilam. For some odd reason Sashe had thought maybe she would like this change, if not, there would be no problem reverting back. An edge here and there would be a standard once they returned to the pack lands of course, but one on one time would be very different. He would not be able to completely drop his whole persona, but maybe a good percentage. A slow grin began to form along his parched labriums as he looked down upon Chilam, her own quizzing expression clearly sighted. Maybe she was just as confused as he, or even more so. "What are you thinking, Chilam?" He asked in a sort of coo, nosing her cheekbone as his wordings ended. A dull thumping sound returned to the symphony of tones, his ebon cord keeping a constant beat. With the new breeze Sashe felt a second wind, renewed. Finally escaping the bone chilling grasp of winter, free once more.
Silence returned to the two, Sashe once again finding himself curled up against his ivory lady. Just enjoying each others presence as if they hadn't a care in the world. It really was such a shame that the real world wasn't this way, for after they returned home, this picture may never be painted again. But then again, perhaps it may. You just never know. So now he was just savoring this moment of peace. A quick second glance was stolen of his now dozing dame, she also seeming completely at peace. Her own facet buried in his winter coat that really never seemed the thin out. These long summer months would make him testy at times, heat whipping his own form as his coloring attracted the suns glare. But Chilam, her favored coloring, ah she would enjoy her days of warmth. Finally shaking off ice coated shackles. And really, Sashe couldn't be more pleased. Thoughts of Tennar slowly made its way back to the forefront of his memory, alot was riding on their brawl soon to come. There was a chance Sashe would be dropped to beta, or perhaps having to move elsewhere to brawl once more. There was also the chance to lose Chilam to anothers grimy grasp. That was clearly something he would not be able to handle, as anyone could conclude.
A few wordings had been spoken, Chilam mulling over her thoughts at this time. Grey pools meiring looked down upon her, waiting for whatever may come. She seemed content. She began to shift on her haunches, lobes tickeling under his chin. A soft nip was placed on the right aud in a playful manner without the intent of pain. "Oh, Sashe..." She spoke, moving away quickly. Her teasing gestures brought a grin to his facet, Sashe rising quickly to jog after. But then he was stopped, a circe drawn around him as Chilam began to make her rounds. "It's been done." A chuckle sounded, his gaze following her form as she moved about. "... Too bad they all lost in the end." He knew she could have other suiters, but Sashe for one wouldn't give her up for the world. "Oh, I believe it little lady. It looks like im the lucky one right?" He spoke as she once again lowered to the moist loam, Sashe leaping over to her side quickly. He began to nuzzle her side before lowering to the ground aside her ivory frame.
His stomach continued to curl with hunger, his attention darting elsewhere at the slightest russtle or snap of a twig. Soft whines of Chilam would quickly lasso his wandering gaze back to her own bleach coated being. Suddenly she lept up as he mentioned pups, seemingly excited about the topic. Within a few moments she had made her way to his side, ivories plucking dangeriously at his auds. But he didn't move, slightly entranced by her little ways he had come to love. "No, Sashe. You love pups. And when you are ready, you will find me." And with that she strutted off again, such a tease. Her coy smile latched onto his own facial expression as he jogged off after the fae. She froze at his words, was she nervious? He chuckled a tad as her nod formed, but her facial said it all. She hadn't a clue what he was getting at. He spoke again, fixing her confusion. Without a second to spare she whipped around, clearly she had accepted his offer. "Of course, of course! Oh, Sashe!" Reliefe flooded through his once tence form, finally, it was official. "Where do you live? Ah, tell me in a bit. Let's first find something good." Before he could speak little Chilam had already sped ahead, Sashe quickly following. He too found himself in a starving state. "Of course, I am starving also." He spoke softly as he lowered slightly, joints bending as he stalked forwards. Spring was a joyous time, new ones arriving every hour. A herd of elk had been known to wander just west of the claiming grounds, oh and Sashe had his eyes on them. "Come on Chilam, I will find you something to eat." He spoke in more whispers as his pace picked up.

Chilam has left. (For the meetingplaceything...) We'll just pick it up from there. I don't want them to go back to that terra yet, since Sashe hasn't started the fight.
