Darkness cloaked the land, the shadows creeping across the loam until every inch was covered in the ebony stain. And the heavens above were dark as well; there was no moon to light the way. The stars twinkled as bright as ever, but they were small and did little to illuminate the path. Crickets sang their sharp song as thin wisps of fog began to gather in the long grass. Fall was ending, that was for sure. Chilling nights giving little company to those of solitude. The day had been a chilling one, stiff and dead with the unforgiving ice. So he had a past, quite a horrid one at that. Leading such a band. chilam, the old flame. And then there was Eclipse. the, the unfaithful. But wait, there had been another. Tala, a fickle wrench. But that was all gone now, he was starting new. It was all over, his old terrain gone like the others. Now the night was falling, and with it came the chilled breeze. His muted footfalls quieted as he halted for a moment before again continuing the journey. Thick braces locked as he paused, simply pondering his next move. Optics rolling in the sockets just before a gust of wind drew his attention westward, the meek scent of brute lingering in the distance. So this terrian was inhabited? A grim smirk began to crawl over his own chapped lips, ivory fangs glistening in contrast. His idle state was quickly marred as he lept into movement, hackles rising as he crept closer and closer in the direction of the fading scent. Bits of ice clung to the ebon dipped threads as he wove through the many anorexic trees linning the valley, peds creating a crunching noise against the freshly lain snow. Here we go..
Charred limbs spread over the terrain he had very few many times, focus turning to a well known object. Or event rather. A grin ran across the onyx mug, joints snapping as he remained in movement. Lengthly nails clicked along the ice coated geo as he moved along with a defiant gate. Slowly he slowed to a hault once again as he found himself in a clearing. "Ruler of this region, step forward now." He spoke, lemon glare set before his own.

obviously there is confussing. Tennar is still here, so this will become a challenge.
Each contender gets 3 moves, one dodge. Sense Tennar is the defendant, he may go first. I will post the standing after each post. Cat you may post. Sashe if you dont want to fight, you can speak now and go elsewhere. Let's begin.

Tennar [/color] Snout rose, bodice tense and alert, senses tingling with anticipation. Something was different, new; strange. A breeze rushed past him and he sniffed the chilled air, unnerved to find scents unknown to him. There hadn't been time to make enemys, much less meet many other lupus, save for Breeze and Finger, so whoever had come into his terra uninvited was not a friend. Turning, he watched for movement coming through the forest, but after a moments time he resolved that whatever had entered wasn't coming for him, but perhaps for something else- either way it was waiting for him to reveal himself. Distractedly, he picked up a smooth lope, finding the snow much deeper then it had been when he'd passed by to address Finger, but that was to be expected, this was a forest after all. Thankfully he'd become used to it, and without much trouble he was covering ground quite swiftly. Knowing that he didn't have far to go, he slowed after a while, allowing himself to concentrate more on his surroundings instead of the path ahead of him, hoping to find whoever had come. Whatever it was hadn't seemed far away. Time passed quickly, and even then he hadn't come across the intruder, but just as he was about to carry on at a faster pace, he heard a voice boom from close by. "Ruler of this region, step forward now." it said, obviously male. Pausing mid-stride, he halted, tentative. Before this he hadn't ever been responsible for his own land, and thus had never faced an opponent in a battle for it- could that be what this brute had come for?
Barrel collapsed, a sigh escaping, dignity recovered. Of all his flaws, the one that stood out the most was how vain he was, and thus it was only on rare occasions that he was ever caught out of sorts. Changing his direction, he proceeded on toward the voice, casually, with a brisk and dominant stride, exuding pride for his terra. Stepping through all the foliage he soon came across the malus who had called him, and with reluctance Tennar stepped toward him. Halting once he'd approached, he nodded, finely chiseled features still and calm, as if he had never lost his nerve. It was preposterous that he had, after all, it wasn't like Tennar was frivilous, in fact he was known to be very cunning and clever for his age, and many thought he'd had a good deal more experience then was true. It all worked to his advantage. Keenly he looked the hessian up and down, observing his opponent, whether it be in a battle of whits or in a battle for his property. Trying not to let on, Tennar was disappointed, knowing he was at a disadvantage against this one. The stranger was most defidently older then he, from the looks of him he had been in many fights, and had the air about him that most had been victorious. Tennar was young and inexperienced, but made up for the lack of such with a great talent for leadership. Physically, Tennar was paired nicely with this older lupus; because of his young age he was spry, energetic, and quick to react. He was also built with a more slender build then this one, who wasn't out of shape, but had a heavier bone-set. Perhaps there were a few assets Tennar had that he could use against this beast if he had to. Catching his thoughts, Tennar reined his focus back to the task at hand- he didn't know what this brute wanted yet, so why jump to conclusions.
Somewhat solemnly, he spoke, his thick scottish-accent rolling effortlessly off his tongue, smooth and syrupy.
What will you have of my attendance, hessian? You bring yourself to my land with naught but a simple request and I find myself quite curious and wondering as to what you want, though I'm not without a hunch. Tell me now, do you come as friend or foe?

Adrenaline continued to rush through Sashe's own pulsing veins, how was it that he was so eager to brawl? Maybe to prove to himself that he was worth something, but you never know. Maybe he was that heartless mongrel most had come to hate, abhore. Except for one, that name was kept sacred to him. Little Chilam. That was really all he needed. But he had already gotten himself involved in this mess, and we all know he is not one to back out. In it for the long run. Chilam was indeed here, to arrive at any moment. What would he say if he indeed had no home? A low snarl sounded, he wouldnt start rambling on. Audits flicked foward and back. Memories flashed through the his own mind of corruption. Intake of sounds proceeded. Rustling of the leaves and brush worsened as the seconds passed. Back turned against the sounds. He had nothing to fear. The lupine was recognized. Almost instantly. Scent flooded his nares, and thus, Tennar was determined. Well well now Tennar. It was assumed you would've came. Of course. Am I that stupid? A snicker relased his chasm. Ebon mass whirrled around, Stilts thrusting his bodice into a stand. Crania held high upon his shoulders. Cord was held in line with his spinal. No emotions could be found upon his features, a blank canvas. The wind pressed against his side as he stood. Etching his whipcord slightly to the left. Only his eyes blinked to tell he was alive. He was not terrorized, nor affected by his coming. Jowles parted as words slipped outside his mug.
A smirk played upon his mug. Still movements broke as he began to get restless. Audits tuned into the surroundings. Distant howels of other lupines scattered across the distant loams. Haunches pressed themselves against the geo as the lupine sat down, a sort of disrespectful pose struck. A yawn exceeded his very mug. Prooving his boredom. The sun began to lower into it's resting spot. Soon the moon would make its journey as well. Their cycle never changing or off course. It somewhat amazed him. Though, he hated the sun. It was too intense. And he dispised the heat to the very most. Another sigh departed his mug. He didnt move from that stance. He would wait for Tennar to do something next. Suppose Tennar thought he was coming to join him, hah! A cackle sliently crept from his chasm. Dial shook back and forth out of his own amusemt and thoughts. Things would soon be different. The world is spinning round and round now out of control again. The birds flew off in the distance. The waves crashed against the shoreline as he sat still upon the hard surface. His mind focused upon what he had been thinking of. Of course. There are always vultures and theives at your back. None could be trusted. That theory had been prooved all along. Every d**n thing he met always had something to do. No matter how good someone is, They all enjoy pissing someone off. It was pretty pathetic in his eyes. But it was something they all had to deal with. Indeed. He would play rough, Just as he always had to do so. And then, finally, the little brute spoke. "What will you have of my attendance, hessian? You bring yourself to my land with naught but a simple request and I find myself quite curious and wondering as to what you want, though I'm not without a hunch. Tell me now, do you come as friend or foe?" A cackle rolled from his own ebon licked muggary, dial flung skywards. His joy only lasted for a short moment however, Sashe rising quickly. Hackles standing stifly along his spinal, dial dial squaring off with is shoulders. Holding a defensive pose, ready for what was to come. "foe." He spat, malicious tones poisoning the air. "These lands, will be mine." He hissed, pausing for a moment. "Unless you plan to do something about it." And that was it. Your turn Tennar.

Sorry for the hold-up Sashe'. I've been studying for finals and had the first show of the season with my horse this weekend. By the end of this week I should have more of a free schedule.

Sashe', I realize very much how horribly terribly unfortunately aweful it is that I'm not posting when I said I would last week. I hate doing that to people. Being truthful with myself though, I know I'm not going to be able to post very much this summer at all. I'm in the process of selling my long-time best friend of a horse, training a horse for my instructor, and showing almost every weekend, as well as not being done with my schoolwork yet. So being very honest, I'm not going to be able to post for much longer then I anticipated if not at all, so I've come to a conclusion; You go ahead and have this terra, you are more then active and I'm not going to be able to post for the fight, alongside the fact that, going by the rules, you've probably already won it anyway. Also, I'm sure that Pac would love to rp with you instead of going back to claiming, but thats for you guys to decide about. I'm withdrawing myself from rping and I'm about to post my leave for an unknown amount of time. I'll be checking back once in a while, but not for posting unless by rarity, so I may as well not at all unless I can fully commit, instead of dragging everyone into inactivity with me. So, good luck, thanks for putting up with me. XD
