Many, many years ago there was a powerful wolf by name of Larsun. In his lifetime, he had been awarded for good deeds many times, and was dubbed to be the ruler of the Lands. None can really say, though, why he turned the way he did. He began to use his new status, and twisted it so that he was a Dictator above all others. Many wanted him gone, yet some approved of his methods, weather they be of pain or not. Three wolves banded together and started to recruit for what would be one of the largest battles fought in the area.
The three wolves evolved into many, and on one silent September night, the Rebellion struck with force. They bullied Larsun, now known as the Dark Being, and his loyal followers down into the southern tip of their world; a place called the Skull Lands. For a time, Larsun and his followers went into hiding.
Ravens of other birds, the creatures known to wide-spread rumors, reported that Larsun was training his followers to steal souls. The first signs of this horror was seen a few weeks after the birds first rumor had been said. Wolves had been seen wandering with dazed looks on their faces, mumbling to themselves, and striking as most things. They, many believed, had gone crazy from loosing their souls.
Resistance groups have risen to fight back, or hide from, Larsun and his Snatchers. The birds even say that he is turning the soulless wolves into his puppets, sending them to do his dirty work. Some sources say he holds their souls captive in some cave, yet others say that he eats them and brings more power to his veins.
Soul Steal. Is your Soul safe?
