Eyes on the ground before me. Pelt moving like the waves of the ocean in the thick winds. d**n that wind, my only enemy at the moment. Pads sunk deep into the snow, as the layer above me settled to my fur, my eyes showed only determination, and I was determined. Determined to get to the top of this blasted hill that is. The steep incline, much like that of a rock climber I had to move, using talons to scrape the stone that I had uncovered.
Now reaching midway I stopped, this was as far as I dared to go, and lucky me. A cheerful sight was that cave. The alpha's cave.
Knowing that no other wolf could even think of scaling these walls I moved forward again and into the cave I went. Occuli now searching, quickness abounding. Auds pricked forward like a domestic puppy in a "Oh look, daddys home!" sort of manner. When the winds failed to blow I had reached the mouth of the large inbankment and walked once again, strong pillairs carrying me into the cave, on silent paws I moved yet. Walls jagged and rough I did my best to avoid them, but in them cave paintings stared at me as if real beings. A spooky setting for a alpha cave. Thus I found myself close to the wall, admiring the handsmenship of the carving and drawings. Wait, from the creatures that were destroying our lives? Pathetic scribbles yes, as I moved my eyes back to the cave and what lie ahead. As sudden as I had appeared in the cave I turned again, padding towards the entrance as if to leave but sliding on the icy ground to skid to a halt once more. Cranium raised a low howl drifted from my maw as my orbs closed and the howl drifting into the night. The winds nipping at it's heels at it ran and the winds chased. The call, was a claim.
